Before uploading a recording, look beyond the person speaking. A screen, shipping label, or document in the background may contain information you did not mean to share. Check the service’s privacy policy and keep sensitive material out of the source clip.
Review the whole frame
Look for addresses, customer names, browser tabs, and private messages. Trim or crop them out before uploading. If the recording includes other people, make sure you have permission to use and share it.
Read the policy that applies to your upload
Check the privacy policy for how uploads and account data are handled. If you need a specific retention period or deletion process for work, ask support before uploading. Do not assume a file stays on your device just because you use an editor in a browser.
Treat blur as a visual effect
Background blur makes a scene less distracting. It is not a substitute for removing confidential information from a recording. Inspect the exported file too, including any audio that could disclose private details.
